Sean Leonard Michael Anderson (né le 25 Mars 1988) est un artiste Hip-Hop principalement connu sous son nom de scène Big Sean. Il est né à Santa Monica, en Californie et s'installe à Detroit, Michigan dès son plus jeune age. Sean signe avec Kanye West sur son label "GOOD Music" en 2007, puis en 2008 signe avec Island Def Jam. Il a été présenté dans le célèbre magasine The Source et le Detroit Metro Times. Big Sean a été élevé par sa mère. Dans sa petite enfance, il participe à "Detroit Sean Waldorf School", une école pour les arts. Après la huitième année, Big Sean assiste aux Cass Technical High School. Dans ses dernières années à l'école secondaire, Big Sean acquis une précieuse relation avec la station radio de Detroit Hip Hop 102,7 FM, il montre ses talents de rimes sur une base hebdomadaire dans le cadre d'un concours de Rap Battle organisé par la station. En 2005, Kanye West est présent sur la station 102,7 FM l'audience est donc au plus haut, Big Sean ne perd pas une occasion et se dirigea vers la station pour montré ses talents à Kanye. Après avoir acquis une solide relation avec la station pour ses précédente Rap Battle, il a été autorisé à rentré l'intérieur et le droit de parler de Kanye sur ses compétences de rimes. Après avoir laissé une démo avec un style libre pour Kanye, Big Sean est laissé impressionné. Deux ans plus tard, après des mois de soumission et de peaufiner le travail de Sean, Kanye West a finalement signé Big Sean sur GOOD Music. Read more on Last.fm.
