It is simple and easy to make while also having a pleasant taste. Not to mention, the health benefits that this mixture can provide are numerous and help the entire body when consumed consistently. First, a drink consisting of honey and ginger can promote proper digestion and help to remedy different digestive issues. The mixture has tremendous antibacterial, antiviral and anti-parasitic properties. It also consists of phenol compounds and volatile oils, which again help with healthy digestion. This allows the honey and ginger concoction to help eliminate and remove toxins through out the entire body and pushes food through the stomach and digestive tract. It can also relieve bloating gas while treating different stomach conditions such as diarrhea and upset stomach. In addition to these digestive health benefits, this mixture also contains a number of important antioxidants. One of which is called gingerols. To make this honey and ginger mixture for yourself, all you will need is 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 cup of hot water. First, grate and prepare the ginger by placing it into a cup and then fill it with the hot water. Let this ginger steep in the water for about 5 to 10 minutes, and then remove the ginger with a strainer.
