Having my splints taken out after a Septoplasty and bi-lateral turbinate reduction
Had surgery a week ago to correct my deviated septum after a football accident. Today I got the splints removed from my nose. The Surgery was performed by Dr. De La Garza and the splint removal by Mark E. Manning. Mid Kansas Ear, Nose, and Throat

Minute 2:10 and 2:23 is the good part. I had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction on 12/7/10 to correct my deviated septum and improve my breathing. This is the video of the removal of the splints eight days later.

I get the splints removed at about 0:20. Before that he snips the sutures, and after that he vacuums my nose. That vacuum went really far in! But, it wasn't painful, and only a little bit uncomfortable. My breathing rules now! Get the surgery.
I had a septoplasty and coblation turbinate reduction to help with breathing issues I've had a good portion of my life. For some reason, I kept thinking this was a minor procedure with minimal recovery time. Overall the surgery wasn't bad at all,
