We had such a great time last year, that we took another trip up to Sacramento to check out our favorite scaly critters! Kids and adults of all ages enjoy seeing AND HOLDING all sorts of different reptiles. It is a great learning experience as well as a great opportunity to buy your next cold-blooded pet! In addition to reptiles, they also had some very large SPIDERS and INSECTS!!! But MommyTube stayed clear of them this year. Her favorites are the tortoises and bearded dragons. As most of you know, we picked up a Spanish Ribbed Newt (http://youtu.be/DYGKO1UNmqo) during our last visit to the reptile show. This year, we got a baby Sulcata Tortoise. This little guy won't be tiny for long. Sulcata Tortoises are the world's 3rd largest tortoise and will grow to be over 100lbs and more than 30 inches long! Luckily we've got a big backyard! =) They also live to be 100-200 years old! Stay tuned for more videos of "Mikey" on EvanTubeRAW! We also stopped by Barsch Tropicals (http://www.barschtropicals.com) to see the carnivorous plants and they gave us a Dionaea Muschipula - King Henry (Venus Fly Trap). We'll be making a video of that showing you how it eats insects soon on EvanTubeRAW. Stay tuned! Also, special thanks to Heather's Herps (http://www.heathersherps.com) for the cool T-shirt!
