6th Street NW is blocked between Northwest Bypass and Smelter by law enforcement officers. Several Great Falls Police Department officers, at least on Montana Highway Patrol trooper, and a Great Falls Fire Rescue vehicle are blocking access. Officers have declined to release any information about what is happening, but are advising people to avoid the area until the situation is resolved. We are working to find out what is happening.
