Alien Ant Farm est un groupe de rock alternatif californien formé en 1996. Après un premier album sobrement intitulé Greatest Hits, Alien Ant Farm a eu l'occasion de signer chez New Noize. Ce label s'est habilement chargé de propulser le groupe sur le devant de la scène internationale en distribuant son second opus ANThology. C'est grâce à la reprise déjantée du "Smooth Criminal" de Michael Jackson qu'AAF a fait son apparition dans les charts du monde entier. Sa troisième galette, truANT, moins médiatisée de ce côté de l'Atlantique, a pourtant été bien accueillie.
