Allotment Diary : Greenhouse, Polytunnel & Giant Onion Update. A quick update from the vegetable growing this year so far. The lettuce, brassicas and shallots are growing away slowly. Chillies and peppers are ticking over. The peas are doing well outside after being transplanted. The early potatoes in pots are growing well The giant onions are bigger than I've ever had at this stage before. So things are starting to get going slowly. Happy Gardening.
