The latest update from my vegetable allotment plot, greenhouse & polytunnel and the ongoing trouble with the herbicide contaminated compost that is killing my plants. Apart from the herbicide poisoned plants growing in a specific compost everything is doing well. The Peppers are great, the cucumbers are still producing fruit and the tomatoes are OK. The peas are going mad now and I'm harvesting every couple of days. Unfortunately due to some contaminated compost the potatoes are growing deformed leaves due to the poison in the compost. I'm so annoyed and am taking steps regarding the issue. The giant marrow is growing well and the giant onions are still growing slowly so it should be a close thing as to whether I get to 10 lbs this year. Please be aware of the symptoms of contaminated compost and don't hesitate to contact the supplier if you have similar symptoms. I'm not going to name my specific supplier due to on going legal issues and possible litigation due to their negligence and my loss. Happy Gardening.
