http://www.longplays.org Played by: Ironclaw This is the floppy version, a CD32 version exist as well. The reason I chose this version is because CD32 has CD music tracks which WinUAE doesn't record, and I didn't wanna manually add them. I much better prefer the floppy version's music anyway.. There are more differences between these versions:. CD32 has: - FMVs, like intro and several more in-game - trail effect from the engines when moving around - no score counting sound on the "Level Clear" screen, but the floppy version has it Some more observations: - the backgrounds (those where most of the gameplay is on) are smaller in Super Stardust than in Stardust - in the floppy version the title tune uses 12 channels, but the rest of the music the standard 4 (or so it showed, but probably only 2-3 being used, one reserved for sound, maybe) - over 300 colors when the weapon HUD is displayed - Both Stardust and Super Stardust uses the exact (it seems) cave levels. Here's a comparison example: SD - http://tinyurl.com/peh9zat SSD - http://tinyurl.com/nplflmr On the back of the box it says "12 channel music", which was just the title tune (already mentioned, I know), but they make people think all of them are. It also says "Underwater missions, plus two special secret missions", you would think them being "secret" that I would need to do something special to find them, but couldn't find any info on this anywhere, so I just hope they are the Voluntary Special Missions I did, which were not really SECRET. Pretty much the same game as the prequel but with better graphics and new music. Not much of an outro.
