"Au Privave" by Charlie Parker. Parker recorded his famous version of "Au Privave" sixty-five years ago TO THE DAY (January 17th, 1951). Whether we know it or not, without Charlie Parker, jazz would not be what it is today. He was the "John Muir of Jazz," paving the way for future generations. His experimental practices of extending and altering the melodic and harmonic vocabulary of his time helped to create the contemporary jazz vocabulary that we all know today. May his wisdom be studied forever, and his soul rest in peace. Soli Deo gloria [Ben Martin Guitar, Ben Martin Jazz, Ben Martin Music, Ben Martin Music Mentor, Au Privave Guitar]
