Jonas Altberg est né le 22 décembre 1984 à Halmstad en Suède. Il vit avec ses parents et son petit frère à cinq minutes de la meilleure plage suèdoise "Tylösand". On peut rapidement le décrire comme étant tétu et créatif. Sa première création musicale date de 1999 grâce à l'aide du logiciel Fruityloops (NDR : renommé maintenant FL Studio). Son interêt pour la musique est alors devenu de plus en plus important. Après un grand nombre de démos diffusées sur le net, il a commencé à recevoir plusieurs coups de téléphone de la part de boîtes qui voulaient l'engager comme DJ. En avril 2006 il a enfin pu vraiment approcher l'industrie musicale avec la signature d'un accord avec le studio Warner Music. Son premier single "Boten Anna" est alors sorti en Scandinavie et y est rapidement devenu incontournable ; tout est allé très vite, beaucoup plus vite que Basshunter lui-même avait pu l'espérer. De quelqu'un de banal - bon aux jeux-vidéos sur PC - il est devenu celui qui a pu se produire tous les jours en Scandinavie ! L'histoire continue avec sa musique "SWEDISH" qui est classée numéro deux des ventes de disques en Hollande. Read more on Last.fm.
