Car Tent Camping in the Desert - How We Survived Alvord Desert For Father’s Day weekend, we headed to south east Oregon to car tent camp in the middle of Alvord desert. This area is considered to be one of the darkest areas at night due to minimal light pollution. We did risk getting stuck in mud if it rained as mentioned in the weather forecast, but we felt confident that we would make it out alive and not to let a little risk hold us back. This is part 1 of a 2 part series of our exploration weekend in southeast Oregon. I hope you will join us in this adventure, and continue to stay with us in future adventures to come!
