The Enlightened Equipment Enigma is a great piece of gear for hammock camping. It’s one of my favorite down “sleeping bags” I’ve owned and one of my best ultralight backpacking gear. The enigma is very minimalist. There are no zippers, tabs or additional items to add weight. It has a sewn footbox that really works well for me and there’s no fussing with adjusting it while staying warm. The top part of the quilt does have a cinch system in place to help lock out any drafts around your neck and shoulders. It has 850 fill Downtek treated down, is rated for 20 degrees and I have the Long (6 feet, 6 inches) and wide (58 inches) version. I opted for 10D fabric on the inside (red) and 20D fabric (Aegean blue) on the outside to add some water resistance. The quilt comes with a silnylon stuff sack, a breathable nylon storage sack and elastic straps. I’ve been very pleased with Enlightened Equipment as a company and the quality of the Enigma top quilt. This is my go to way to stay warm in the backcountry and I’d recommend it to anyone. http://www.enlightenedequipment.com/enigma/ Instagram: @timwatsonoutdoors Twitter: @timwoutdoors Facebook: www.facebook.com/timwatsonoutdoors
