Javier Baez of the Iowa Cubs strikes out for the first out of the top of the 9th. This was a pretty questionable call as the pitch definitely appeared to be outside (the catcher was set up way outside). Baez was pissed at the umpire’s call. After he walked back to the dugout, you could hear him smashing things inside it. Baez finished the night 2 for 3 with 2 HRs, 2 RBIs, 2 BBs, and a strikeout. Unfortunately, I did not have the camera rolling for EITHER of the two homeruns he hit this game (just my luck). This was Javier Baez's last game with the AAA Iowa Cubs before being called up to the big league squad).
