Jet est un groupe de rock créé en 2001 à Melbourne dont le premier album, "Get Born" (sorti en 2003) s'est vendu à plus de 3,5 millions d'exemplaires dans le monde. Le groupe s'inspire de formations telles que les Beatles, les Sex Pistols, les Kinks, AC/DC, Oasis, Iggy Pop ou encore les Rolling Stones. Le quatuor a tout d'abord auto-produit un premier EP intitulé "Dirty Sweet" avant de signer en 2002 un contrat avec la maison de disque Elektra en Australie. Il a ensuite enchaîné avec un album très rock, "Get Born", dont le clip de "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" a retentit sur les ondes mondiales durant l'été 2003. Jet est N°1 en Australie mais reste encore très peu connu du public français. Le Groupe se compose de: -Nic Cester – guitariste et chanteur principal -Chris Cester – percussions et voix -Cameron Muncey – guitare et voix -Mark Wilson – basse Le titre "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" a été récemment utilisé dans le film "The Holiday" de Nancy Meyers avec Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law et Jack Black Le titre "Cold Hard Bitch", est lui, le générique de la série anglaise "Sugar Rush", avec Olivia Hallinan, Lenora Crichlow, Sara Stewart, Richard Lumsden et Sarah-Jane Potts. Le titre "Hold On" n'est disponible que sur la bande originale du film "Spiderman 2" de Sam Raimi. Le titre "Falling Star" est present sur la bande originale du film "Spiderman 3" de Sam Raimi.
