Welp, apparently this video is somewhat popular enough that I should update this description 6 years later. DISCLAIMER: I AM AN IGNORANT IDIOT IN THIS VIDEO. DON'T STIR THE WATER WITH YOUR FINGERS, AND DON'T USE TAP WATER, PEOPLE HAVE DIED FROM PARASITIC INFECTIONS FROM USING WATER DIRECTLY FROM THE TAP. ALSO SHUT YOUR WATER OFF WHEN YOU DON'T NEED IT. First of all, thanks for the views! Second of all, this video was made the second time I had used my neti pot, and was before the reports of people getting parasites from their tap water in their nose. Obviously nowadays sanitation is much more of a concern now that I've matured a bit and learned about the potential risks. Please use these tools responsibly. Sinus rinsing is certainly a decent way to clear a nasty stubborn clogged nose that's been bothering you, but make sure you do it properly (unlike me in this video). I've since moved on to the NeilMed Sinu Rinse bottle. I feel it performs better as there is a slight pressure with the rinse. I also only use water previously boiled in my kettle and cooled down. I tend to go a bit light on the saline packet mix, about 3/4ths of a packet vs the full 1 packet. This made it less "ocean-watery" and more "tear-like" to me. Best of luck!
