Footage made public by Afghanistan veteran Peshmerganor, a Norwegian volunteer who served several years in the Norwegian Armed Forces and now fights alongside the Kurdish Peshmerga in Iraq, shows his unit destroying an approaching ISIS APC after their outpost came under ISIS attack in the morning of March 4, 2016 south of the Mosul Dam, Iraq. The attack was held out by two ISIS armoured vehicles, the first one beeing a bulldozer filled with explosives that was supposed to clear a path for the seocond one an APC, into their outpost. After the bulldozer got stuck in a small trench 50 meters from the Peshmerga fighters position, the driver detonated himself. The APC was then disabled by the Peshmerga leader, Wahed Kovle, who used a German Panzerfaust and two RPG's to take the ISIS vehicle out. ISIS lost 3 fighters that were inside the vehicle and two more that jumped out of the APC and tried to flee the scene were gunned down. Several more ISIS fighters who came on foot were also taken out that day. The battle lasted for 8 hours in which the unit lost one man and had three wounded, including one of Peshmerganors buddies who was treated by himself.
