My clip here was taken the TV special Happy Birthday Garfield (1988), which in turn took this clip from a TV special called The Fantastic Funnies, which featured several comic strip characters brought to life in animation, directed by Bill Melendez around 1980. Most noticeably, Lorenzo Music is NOT the voice of Garfield. Reportedly, Scott Beach is the voice of Garfield in this attempt. They wisely changed voice actors by the time Here Comes Garfield surfaced two years later..
