A common question asked to me is "What is Minecraft Factions?" The Minecraft Factions is a custom gamemode that allows you the option to create a faction or team to come together on a quest to become the richest and strongest faction. Based around the hardcore feature of factions, the gamemode is faced around DTR and land claiming which means that other players that are not in your faction while you have positive DTR cannot break anything while in your claim! DTR stand for deaths till raidable. Example: If your faction is on 5 DTR and one player from your factions dies you are then on 4 DTR. Upon going zero or negative in DTR your faction becomes raidable and anyone is allowed in your claim to take your valuables. The Hardcore Factions gamemode is often called HCF for short.
