Paris Jackson has revealed she attempted to kill herself four years ago after constant abuse from online bullies. The 18-year-old daughter of late King of Pop Michael broke down in tears as she recounted how abuse from internet trolls had taken its toll, and revealed how "nothing has changed". In a now-deleted video posted to her Instagram page, Paris became visibly upset as she told the camera: "I don't understand how there can be so much hatred in the world. "I've tried sticking up for myself, the whole blocking the haters thing, not reading the comments... I've tried a lot of things. But it's hard when there's so much of it I don't get why I'm such an easy target. I try to be nice to everyone I meet, I give everyone a chance." In the video, Paris questioned whether she had been "too open" with fans as she tried to find a reason why she had attracted so much online hate. "I try to be open with you guys about what I do on a daily basis. I don't hide a lot, I'm very public," she continued. Paris also spoke about her two-year hiatus from social media and why she decided to return. She explained: "When I was 14 I got so much hatred that I tried to kill myself. "I took a two year break from social media and people asked me to come back and make my Instagram public again, so I did. but nothing changed." She added: "I'm just tired of it and I know I'm not the only one." Paris then referenced Justin Bieber making his Instagram page private following online abuse directed at his new girlfriend, Sofia Richie. F***ing Justin Bieber went into a downward spiral because everyone he dates gets so much hate," she said. "I have known Sofia since I was like 12 years old. She's one of the sweetest girls in the world. And people are telling her to kill herself." Paris conceded: "I'm just really, really tired." Fans rushed to offer words of support, with one writing:"Don't ever let these sad souls comments and jealousy hurt you. Just go do great things like I know you will. Another said: "Be strong babe, don't listen to them."
