From here on out, it only gets more and more difficult. Great. Let's continue to pray for no smashed controllers. Pollination, domination takes over as we actually struggle with a boss battle. Cagney Carnation seems to put the moves on us with his raining seedlings that immediately grow into plant related enemies and projectiles. If that's not hard enough, Cagney Carnation will also lunge forward at our heroes Cuphead and Mugman should they be choose a wrong approach. Although Cagney only has two phases, he seemingly has the most health and taking him down takes much longer than anticipated. His second form has Cagney Carnation become more of an abomination as his vines will entangle and strangle any players that choose the wrong platform to stay on. He also fire off fluffs or cotton. Dandelions? Whatever, we failed a Cuphead boss several times. After beating the level Floral Fury, we take on the Mausoleum and gain a new ability. We then meet up with the King Dice and listen a little to his jingle. Apparently there is a glitch that if a player gets hit by dashing into Cagney Carnation's acorn attack, he'll stay idle and passive until he switches forms. Probably the most helpful glitch in a game since Pokemon Red. Brayden as Cuphead. Brandon as Mugman. Order up! It's Salt and Pepper Gaming! After having to wait a full three weeks due to mid-terms and the unexpected length of Bendy and The Ink Machine, Salt and Pepper Gaming can finally play some Cuphead: Don't Deal With The Devil! Too bad within that hiatus, Brandon was able to beat all of Cuphead with his brother. Great. Wasn't he supposed to be studying? Lucky for you viewer, that means you get a good mix up of funny moments due to fails, all the while avoiding full rage due to Brandon's prior knowledge of Cuphead! Man even knows to always first grab the smoke bomb at the shop! A fantastic tip for anyone at their first time playing Cuphead is to parry as often as possible, it does you wonders. Trust me. Cuphead: Don't Deal With The Devil is the heavily anticipated game that has been hyped up for since it's announcement back in 2014. Since it's release, Cuphead has grown quite the reputation of being a really difficult game! Be sure to ask your local journalist to DASH on over to help. Cuphead is agreed by many to not be an easy game, many fans have started to call it Dark Souls 4! Or the dark souls of platformers! Cuphead sits on a thin line between brutal and unfair as the plethora of enemies raining down projectiles just might have you smashing your poor controller. Cuphead was originally created on the concept of boss runs. Eventually run and gun levels were implemented, but people are much more interested in the boss fights. Cuphead forces players to slowly and angrily become recognised with enemy patterns in order to survive the multiple forms that bosses will try and catch off players with. Players only have three lives to defeat bosses with, in coop mode, Mugman tags along Cuphead and the two can be revived if one player falls victim to the difficulty. This is done by performing a parry, a useful technique that players should master as soon as possible. Pink coloured projectiles or environments can be parried saving the player from being hit. Another useful technique is the dash that can help players reach distances they wouldn't normally reach. The smoke bomb at the shop Porkrind's emporium can be purchased thus players take no damage when dashing. Other weapons such as the Charged, Spread and the Chaser can be bought. Cuphead bosses and Run and Gun levels are layered out within three sections of Inkwell Isle as well as a final area known as Inkwell Hell. Aside from it's difficult gameplay, Cuphead's other main appeal is its fantastic creative art style. Heavily inspired buy 1930 cartoons every single character, boss, enemy, backdrop and item is hand drawn by some one who spent a ridiculous amount of time working! Cuphead deserves all the fandom it has plus way more! This game isn't easy, but it sure is fun! The story of Cuphead is that two brothers Cuphead and Mugman become greedy after a night out at the The Devil's Casino. Foolishly, Cuphead makes a deal with the Devil and the two beg him not to take their souls. Convinced not do so, the Devil forces Cuphead and Mugman in turn to collect the souls of debtors that have runaway. With no other choice, Cuphead and Mugman head out to take down a multitude of bosses consisting of many alongside: Cala Maria, Hilda Berg, Djimmi the Great and Cagney Carnation.
