Prehistorik was released on the Amiga, Atari ST, DOS and the Amstrad CPC in the summer of 1991. Its a cute platformer with bags of character, check it out. Production Notes: =============== Ripped: 14. Jan 2015 Edited: 11-16 July 2015 The volume vs sound effects caused issues in the edit and I didnt remember the music in the game being so quiet. On the last level the in-game music is actually quite normal, so it seems strange the other music is so quiet. I added the .mod files over the game at some points and this may have made the music too loud? The narration is also pretty loud in this one, although the listener can turn the volume down. You may notice the narration has move from 'fireside chat', through 'lecture' to 'presentation', and although I'm trying to send myself up a bit with this, its noticeably more on the formal side these days. When I began these guides, the games still felt current and fresh, now they definitely feel retro. :) No comparison zone again this time, although I did check out the other conversions but they were pretty much identical except for CPC.
