This memorable performance is finally available on DVD!! It's as a part of the new release of her complete Warner Classics (former EMI) recordings as a 11 CDs and 1 DVD set, including her Gramophone award winning Bartok concerto no.2 with Simon Rattle,Diapason d'Or winning Brahms violin sonatas, and her first piano trio recording with Previn and Tortelier which hasn't been available on CD in its entire form. It's due to be released on April 6th (in the UK). Check out your local record store or Amazon for 'Kyung Wha Chung - The Complete Warner Recordings'. Kyung-Wha Chung plays Beethoven violin concerto with Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and late Klauss Tennstedt. The concert took place in 1989 and the performance was subsequently released as CD from EMI. I. Allegro ma non troppo 0:12 (cadenza 20:31) II. Larghetto 25:26 III. Rondo (allegro) 35:14 (cadenza 41:56) * As Youtube has improved its video quality and time limit since I first started uploading videos some years ago, I think it's not a bad idea to re-upload some of the old materials in better quality and without annoying cuts. Here's the first of such re-uploads, Beethoven violin concerto, whose orchestral intro I had cut in the previous upload due to time limit and received lots of complaints regarding the cut.
