As a youth, I heard this computerized voice sounding instrument called the Talkbox (Or VoiceBox) done by a man named Roger Troutman (Lead singer of The Zapp Band)! The first song I heard with this sound was called Computer Love! It blew me away! And then I heard Roger's song called I Want To Be your man! When I heard THAT song, that was it!! I was determined to find him & that instrument so that I could play it! And I did! Now here I am almost 20 years later playing Talkbox still! So here's my Tribute to the band that TOTALLY inspired me to do Talkbox! I'm so thankful for Roger & Zapp & what they brought to the world. This song also goes out to my wife Tamara Chambers!
