Second edit for headphones. For the 'experts' on Stones songs: I changed the start of the song, which (I think) missed about 0.3 of a second... it's there now...* No sounds were added, it's only Stones. Brian Jones played slide guitar and harmonica. Brian's outstanding musical capabilities made this song to this day the only time a blues song has ever topped the British pop charts: it reached number one in the UK Singles Chart on december 5, 1964, where it stayed for one week. "Little Red Rooster" was recorded September 2, 1964, at Regent Sound in London. Others state that it was recorded at the Chess Studio's in Chicago, which I doubt, for in that studio several outstanding early Rolling Stones songs were recorded in true stereo; this song up to this day is only available in mono. Recorded September 2, 1964. Released as a UK single on November 13, 1964, and a # 1 hit in December that year; twelve weeks in the charts. In Holland it reached # 4 in Januari 1965 and also remained for twelve weeks in the charts. Australia #4 - Germany #14 - France #21. The single was banned in the US because of its sexual undertone (!). How sick minded that committee must have been. (Maybe presided by the jesuit monk that now rules the roman church?)(Watch that guy, the first to visit Erdogan in his megalomaniacal luxury palace.) Released in the US on the album "The Rolling Stones Now" on February 12, 1965. November 4, 1966 on "Big Hits (high tide and green grass)". Electric slide guitar & harp: Brian Jones. Vocals: Mick Jagger. Acoustic guitar: Keith Richards. Drums: Charlie Watts. Bass: Bill Wyman.
