Here's your Voice Cap, welcome back to ClevverMusic. Tension was high between The Voice coaches Christina Aguilera, Ceelo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine as they paired their own teams against each other to narrow their top 8 down to 4 contestants each. For the first time ever the contestants picked their song to sing and engaged in some 1 on 1 coaching time. Also for the first time, each coach gets 1 steal in the Knockout round. So how'd the show go? Team Xtina kicked it off with Amber Nicole belting out Jessie J's "Mama Knows Best" against Josh Logan singing Stevie Wonder's "Living for the City". Xtina surprisingly chose to keep Josh, and Blake and Ceelo fought to steal Amber, with CeeLo winning the steal. One of our favorite knockouts of the night came from Team Blake. Holly Henry chose to sing Radiohead's "Creep" against Nic Hawk boldly doing an R&B version of Christina's "Genie in a Bottle", take a look at that. Nice seeing Christina enjoying a cover of her own song there! But the moment of truth saw Blake choose to keep Nic on his team sending Holly packing. Another Knockout from Team Blake has everyone talking: Briana Cuoco's No Doubt "Don't Speak" cover song versus Shelbie Z doing Carrie Underwood's "Last Name". Let's take a peek at that performance. While we loved Briana's song choice, it seems Blake thought Shelbie's Carrie Underwood performance was stronger for the live rounds, sending Briana home.
