I suffer from Traction Alopecia due to wearing micro braids and tight scalp braids when I was younger. I didn't know anything about taking care of my hair and the damage I was causing by pulling my hair so tight. I suffered from depression and my medication was causing my hair to fall out in the middle of my head and patches on the side. As time went by the bald spot started to get larger in the center of my head and my edges/hairline was disappearing also. I tried different hairstyles to help cover it, but it was getting harder to hide. I was depressed, I didn't know that to do. So, it was either sit there and cry about it or do something about it. I taught myself how to make wigs to help cover my bald spots. The hair in the center of my head started to grow back, but my hairline never really changed. I do plan on getting surgery one day, but right now i can’t afford it. I make videos like this to help other people suffering from hair loss and don't know to do.
