SHOTLIST 1. Various shots allegedly showing Saddam Hussein's body after his execution 2. Various STILLS allegedly showing Saddam Hussein's body after his execution STORYLINE: Pictures which allegedly show former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's body after his execution were broadcast on Saturday. The footage, which was aired on Iraqi national television, showed a man identified as Saddam lying on a stretcher, covered in a white shroud. His head is uncovered, and his neck is twisted at a sharp angle. His neck and part of the shroud have what appear to be bloodstains. The pictures look to have been recorded on a mobile phone. The execution came 56 days after a court convicted Saddam and sentenced him to death for his role in the killings of 148 Shiite Muslims from a town where assassins tried to kill the dictator in 1982. Iraq's highest court rejected Saddam's appeal on Monday and ordered him executed within 30 days.
